On Saturday, February 10, 2024, marks the start of the Chinese New Year, this is an important period for dolls, as all factories are at a standstill, not to mention a very large part of the country. Slowdowns in production and transport are to be expected.
This period affects all your orders, and here's why.
Order a doll at the end of the year
If you order after January 1, 2024, chances are your doll won't be out of China before the festivities begin. Brand production times are indicated on each product page to help you plan ahead.
Assuming 30 days to manufacture your doll, it won't be shipped until early February, but beware: a shipment from southern China doesn't take three days for Europeans. Allow a fortnight on average between leaving the factory and leaving the country. For North America, it will only take a few days to take off from China.
The reason? The more than 4,000 km from the factories of Guangdong to Xinjiang along the Silk Roads.

Ordering a doll just before Chinese New Year
If you order your doll between January 15 and February 10, it is unlikely that it will be shipped out of China before the annual shutdown. On the other hand, it will probably be ready for shipment as soon as the season resumes.
You avoid so the queue phenomenon at the end of the vacations.

Ordering a doll on or just after CNY
Even though production centers and transport are at a standstill, the doll industry continues to operate during the vacations. Orders pile up and are passed on as usual.
At the resumption of production, there are more love dolls to be made than the factories can handle, resulting in longer production lead times.
First come, first served. So the sooner you anticipate, the sooner it will be ready.
Toute l'équipe d'Ava Love Doll vous souhaite une bonne année 2024, prenez soin de vous, de vos proches et de vos poupées !
