What can you do with the stand-up option?
You can, of course, hold your love doll upright without damaging her and also :

- hold your doll upright in a shower or bathtub, very convenient for washing even if there are alternatives such as on-site seating, washing or cleaning machines

How does the system work?
Let's be clear: the stand-up option doesn't allow a doll to stand alone in the middle of a living room. She'll still need three points of contact to keep her from toppling over, such as her two feet and something on her back.
But then why add those unsightly screws under the feet? If you hold your doll upright without screws, the skeleton will slice through the TPE or silicone from the inside, then the foot will open. A love doll is never 100% upright, and will always have a tendency to slide forwards or backwards.
The purpose of the screws is to support the entire weight of your doll , so as not to stress the feet and protect them.
Tip : put a drop of oil on the screw before screwing it back in, it will be easier to insert and will slide better over the TPE or silicone, reducing the risk of damaging the feet.

Silicone Doll Stand Option
More and more silicone doll manufacturers are banishing the use of bolts to make their dolls stand upright. The alternative is to replace the silicone on the soles of the feet with a harder silicone than the rest of the body.
This results in a small additional mold line, as the firmer silicone will be less sensitive to piercing than a doll without “firm feet”. Although this option allows you to position your doll upright, it's important to point out that the doll can't remain in this position for weeks on end.
Also, according to certain brands, it will be necessary to put a soft covering under her feet, such as a yoga mat.

Bien vu le tapis de yoga sous les pieds semi dure en silicone. ça devient durable du coup dans ce cas ?
sinon j'ajouterai que la position debout je la recommande pour les poupées assez grande et assez lourde. Même si en général c'est valable pour toute. Car l'intérêt en plus du coté pratique c'est certaine position récréative. Hors si madame est trop petite, il y a toujours moyen de s'arranger avec un strapontin mais c'est quand même contraignant.
Une fois la position debout souhaité impossible de prendre un bain avec la belle. Ce qui est par contre envisageable avec une doll au poids et dimension réduite.
Donc même si je dirais que c'est une option (tenir debout) qu'on ne regrette jamais, sur des petites doll pas lourde c'est envisageable de s'en passer pour prendre un bain coquin, faire des photos etc..
Sur l'option silicone ferme pour les pieds, c'est fortement recommandé de ne pas la laisser debout sur une surface dure et de soulager ses pieds de temps en temps. Et à partir de 30 - 35 kg selon la marque, ça devient une option risquée même sur un tapis mou. Les talons qui prennent en premier en général.
